These stunning garnet malas are handmade using genuine semi precious stones. Each round and highly polished bead is threaded and knotted by hand using cotton thread. Made with 108 garnet mala beads plus the guru bead each necklace is finished with a hand made tassel. Measuring 90cm in total length, each bead is 7 – 7.5 mm in diameter.

Garnet is a semi precious stone which brings strength and vitality and helps to increase and direct the flow of kundalini energy. It symbolises fire, faith, courage, truth, grace, and compassion.

Mala beads can be used as a meditation aid to focus the mind through engaging the sense of touch.  Feeling each bead that passes through the fingers not only grounds you it’s also a way to keep track of mantras or prayers and helps to stop the mind wandering. They can be worn as a reminder through the busy day of intentions set in yoga or meditation practice.
